STEERAGE AND TOWING SIMULATOR
The integrated simulator “Hydro-Trainer” is designed for training and assessing the competency of hydrograph specialists in the surveying of bottom heights and relief using modern hydrograph means and namely «ABS-2» & «Survey». Using this simulator it is possible for the trainee to acquire and reinforce their skills in working with automated hydrograph systems by relief and bottom survey, hydrographic trawling, inspection of bottom relief to detect low-sized objects and to perfect the skills of the navigators’ crew in the ship handling under different conditions of the water survey.
The simulator provides special training and ensures the practical knowledge of trainees at an acceptable level is maintained. It is also capable of re-constructing and analyzing complex navigational situations including emergencies and accurate portrayal of circumstances encountered in actual seamanship.
